Two parts matter: the hair and the base it is tied into. The hair is what people see. The base is the thin material that holds it and sits against your scalp, and it is what determines how the system feels, how long it lasts, and how invisible the front looks.

How it goes on
Your specialist maps your hairline and takes a template of your head so the unit is built to your shape rather than approximated. When it arrives it is attached, then cut and styled into your existing hair in the same appointment. You walk out with a finished haircut, not a project.
What it is not
It is not surgery. There is no cutting, no needles, and no recovery period. It is also not permanent in the way a transplant is. A system is worn, maintained on a schedule, and eventually replaced, which is what makes it reversible if you change your mind.

Will people be able to tell?
Not when it is fitted and cut properly. The front hairline is where the work shows, which is why the base choice and the cut matter more than anything else. Done well, it holds up close, in photos, and in daylight.
Does it hurt?
No. Nothing is cut and nothing goes under the skin. Most men describe the install as a long haircut.
