Day to day

Living with a hair system.

The question behind most questions is the same one: will this change how I live? For nearly everything, the answer is no. Here is the honest version, including the parts that do take an adjustment.

The things people worry about

Water, sweat, and sleep are the big three, and none of them are a problem with a secure attachment and a sensible routine.

  • Showering and swimming are fine, drying properly afterwards is what matters
  • The gym is fine, sweat is accounted for in your maintenance schedule
  • You sleep in it, most men notice it for a few nights and then stop thinking about it
  • Travel is fine, we will make sure you know how to look after it away from home

What does take adjusting

There is a short learning curve on washing and styling, and there is a maintenance schedule to keep. That is genuinely the extent of it. The men who struggle are the ones who skip appointments, not the ones who swim.

Real work

This is what it looks like.

A real client from our chair, photographed before and after his hair system was installed and cut in.

Before and after: a client with a thinning crown, then with dark curly hair, a fresh fade, and a lined-up beard after his install.

Questions, answered.

Can I run my hands through it?

Yes. It is attached to your scalp and it behaves like your own hair.

What about hats and helmets?

Both are fine. Mention it at your consultation so we can factor it into the base and attachment we recommend.

Will my scalp be healthy under it?

That is part of what maintenance visits are for. Your scalp is cleaned and treated every time the system comes off.
