Consult from anywhere

A real consultation, wherever you are.

A virtual hair replacement consultation is a scheduled video call with one of our practitioners where we review your hair loss, answer your questions, and map out what a hair system would take in your case. It is designed for men who live outside the Phoenix or Pittsburgh metros, or who want a straight assessment before they commit to travel. You show us your hair on camera, we tell you honestly whether we can help and what the next step looks like, and nothing is decided until you are ready.

Who this is for

Out-of-metro men and traveling barber-education prospects who want a real assessment before booking a studio visit.

How a virtual consultation works

The call runs about the same as a first in-studio conversation, just over video. You book a time, you get a link, and you join from a phone or laptop with decent light. We ask about your hair loss history, what you have already tried, your daily routine, and what you actually want the result to do for you. Then we look at your hair together on camera and talk through what a hair system would mean for your situation.

This is not a sales pitch with a countdown timer. It is the same honest assessment we give in the chair, done remotely so distance is not the thing standing between you and a real answer. If a hair system is not the right call for you, we will say so on the call rather than after you have driven or flown in.

  • Book a time and receive a private video link
  • Join from a phone or laptop in good, even light
  • We review your hair loss, routine, and goals
  • We look at your hair on camera and talk options
  • You leave with a clear, honest next step

What we need to see

The quality of a remote assessment depends almost entirely on what we can see, so a few minutes of preparation makes the whole call more useful. Natural daylight near a window is ideal. We want to see the areas that matter, not a filtered selfie angle, so plan to move the camera around your head as we guide you.

If you can send a few photos ahead of the call, even better. Clear shots of the front hairline, the crown, and the top under normal light tell us most of what we need to gauge coverage, density, and the base size a system would call for.

  • Front hairline, straight on and slightly above
  • The crown and the top of the head from above
  • Both sides, so we can judge how a system blends in
  • A rough sense of your natural hair color and any grey

What we can tell you remotely, and what we cannot

A video call is genuinely good for the big questions. We can tell you whether a hair system is a sensible route for your degree of loss, walk you through how the base, the hair, and the fit come together, and explain the maintenance rhythm you would be signing up for. We can also talk you through what drives cost so there are no surprises. Base size, hair length beyond roughly six inches, European hair, a custom template, and a silk top all add to a build, and where those apply we flag them plainly, with the actual figure set once we have measured you in person.

What a screen cannot do is replace a hand on your scalp. Exact template measurements, a precise color and grey match against your real hair, and the fine hairline design are done in the studio, because they have to be exact. Think of the virtual consultation as the honest yes-or-no and the plan, with the millimeter-level work happening at your first visit.

Planning your visit if you are traveling

Plenty of the men we fit do not live around the corner. We have two studios, one in Peoria, Arizona in the West Valley of the Phoenix metro, and one in Eighty Four, Pennsylvania in the South Hills of the Pittsburgh metro. The virtual consultation exists so that by the time you make the trip, the decision is already made and the day is productive.

On the call we will tell you roughly how much studio time to plan for, whether your fit can be done the same day as your template or needs a build window first, and how to sequence a first visit so you are not making the drive twice for no reason. For out-of-town clients we plan the timeline deliberately around your travel rather than around our calendar.

For barbers and students

We also run a barber-education side, and a lot of interest in it comes from outside Arizona and Pennsylvania. If you are a licensed barber or stylist weighing whether to add hair replacement to your services, a virtual call is the right first step. We can talk through what the craft actually involves, what a mentorship or certification path looks like, and whether traveling to train with us makes sense for where you are in your career.

This keeps the education conversation separate from the client fitting conversation, so whichever one you booked for, you get the version of the call that actually helps you.

What happens after the call

You will leave the virtual consultation knowing exactly where you stand and what the next move is, with no pressure to book anything on the spot. If a hair system is the right fit and you want to move forward, we help you schedule an in-studio visit and, where a build is involved, get your template and specifications started so the wait is as short as possible. If it is not the right fit, you still walk away with a clear picture and an honest recommendation, which is the whole point.

Questions, answered.

How is a virtual consultation different from the in-studio one?

The virtual call handles the honest assessment, the questions, and the plan. The in-studio consultation adds the hands-on work a screen cannot do, exact template measurements, a precise color and grey match, and the hairline design.

Do I need any special equipment?

No. A phone or laptop with a working camera and good natural light is all it takes. Sending a few clear photos of your hairline, crown, and top beforehand makes the call more useful.

Can you tell me what it will cost on the video call?

We can walk you through what drives the cost, base size, hair length, hair type, a custom template, and a silk top among them. The exact figure is set once we have measured you in person, because those details decide the build.

I do not live near Peoria or Eighty Four. Is this worth it?

That is exactly who it is built for. The call lets us confirm a hair system is right for you and plan your visit before you travel, so the trip is productive rather than a gamble.

I am a barber interested in training, not a fitting. Can I still book this?

Yes. Tell us it is about barber education when you book and we will run the call around the craft, mentorship, and certification rather than a personal fitting.

Book it in.

Start with a consultation. We map the plan, answer every question, and tell you honestly what is realistic for your situation.
