Is this the same as maintenance?
No. Maintenance takes the unit off for a full clean and reattachment. This is a cut with the system on, to hold the blend between those visits.
Can my usual barber do this?
Most are not trained on systems, and a wrong cut at the hairline is hard to undo. It is worth having it done by someone who works on units regularly.
